Almost without thinking or planning, historic Boston has become our get-away in the last few years. After visiting the historic Custom House and the surrounding area one Christmas with our kids, Boston has become our go-to place a couple of times a year.
From the Hudson Valley to Boston is about a 3 hour drive. But it's something like a small world away. Our Hudson Valley home and the life we've made there is wonderful ... full of family and friends, sunsets, and grassy fields.
But the weekend escapes to Boston is like a simple break away from home, responsibility, work, and life.
It's been wonderful and I look forward to next time.
