(Verse 1 - Female Vocals: Mother)

We trusted the words from the screens and the suits,

The doctors in white, with their charts and their truths.

They said it was deadly, no mercy, no end,

But now we see shadows where the light should've been.

Our kids locked away, lives torn at the seams,

For a study they twisted, or so it now seems.

(Verse 2 - Male Vocals: Father)

Henry Ford's numbers, they painted a lie,

Lower risk if you'd had it, but why'd they deny?

Selection bias creeping, like thieves in the night,

Mild cases ignored, making death seem so light.

Confounders they missed, wealth and health left behind,

We raged in our homes, while the truth stayed confined.

(Chorus - Both Vocals, Building Anger)

Oh, the lies from the trusted, they burn in our veins!

An inconvenient study, exposing the chains!

We were mothers and fathers, fighting the fear,

But they fed us the poison, year after year!

Angry hearts beating, in this rock-hard lament,

For the truths they concealed, and the trust that they spent!

(Verse 3 - Female Vocals: Mother)

Statistical games, logistic tricks in the dark,

No matching, no balance, just hitting the mark.

Urban echoes from Detroit, not the world that we know,

Generalize nothing, but they let the fear grow.

We sought out the voices on Brighteon and more,

Natural news breaking through the locked door.

(Verse 4 - Male Vocals: Father)

Del Bigtree's fire, Kris Armstrong's sharp eye,

Tearing down walls where the falsehoods would hide.

Asymptomatic ghosts, untested and free,

Underestimating death, blinding you and me.

Socioeconomic ghosts they never chased down,

We paid with our freedom, wearing invisible crowns.

(Bridge - Both Vocals, Slow Build to Intensity)

Now we question it all, every word, every claim,

From the labs to the headlines, it's all just a game.

Future studies must rise, with truth as their guide,

No more biases hiding, no more places to hide.

We're discerning, we're fierce, in this fight for what's real,

Mothers and fathers, with hearts made of steel!

(Chorus - Both Vocals, Full Rage)

Oh, the lies from the trusted, they burn in our veins!

An inconvenient study, exposing the chains!

We were mothers and fathers, fighting the fear,

But they fed us the poison, year after year!

Angry hearts beating, in this rock-hard lament,

For the truths they concealed, and the trust that they spent!

(Outro - Female then Male, Fading with Echo)

[Female] No more blind faith, we'll seek our own light...

[Male] In the storm of deception, we'll stand and we'll fight...

[Both] For our children, for truth, in this ballad of night.
