Fire don't play 'dat game

Fire don’t play 'dat game!

Turns out fire doesn’t really give a crap about your diversity, your equity, or your inclusion.

Wildfires don’t care about your gender, your skin, color, your age, your sexual orientation, your economic status, your religious affiliation, your national origin, or your citizenship status.

And as strange as it sounds, wildfires really don’t care if lesbians run the fire department.

You know what fire does care about? It Cares about whether you can throw a lot of water on it or not, whether the fire hydrants work or don’t work because the reservoirs are full or whether you’ve dumped all your water into the Pacific Ocean.

It also cares about whether you’ve cleared the under brush and managed the forest in a responsible manner.

Maybe we should keep that in mind when we’re trying to figure out how to deal with perennial existential threats like wildfires.

Just a thought to share with the progressive brain trust

running California … into the ground.
