Northern Lights Hymn

[Intro]

(Soft, building choral hum, evoking the shimmering aurora)

Oh, the lights... the lights...

[Verse 1]

In the velvet night, they dance so free,

Breathtaking waves of green and red,

From Iceland's shores to Montana's plains,

A cosmic grin that lights the sky ahead.

We stand in awe, like ancestors of old,

Majestic curtains, pulsing with delight,

A solar storm that paints the darkened cold,

Reminding us of wonders in the night.

[Chorus]

Oh, Northern Lights, you fill us with your magic,

Awe and wonder in the vast universe so grand!

How small we are beneath your glowing tragic,

Yet how great is God, the Artist with His hand!

He is the world's greatest painter, glorious and true,

Creating beauty that makes the stardust real,

In every hue, His love shines through,

Northern Lights, your splendor we feel!

[Verse 2]

From Louisville to Ohio's unexpected glow,

Stunning spectacles that stretch so far and wide,

A lifelong dream for hearts that yearn to know,

The universe alive, with secrets it can't hide.

We're jealous of the sights in Georgia's skies,

Ethereal pulses, colorful and bright,

A reminder of physics, yet divine surprise,

God's great creation in the dead of night.

[Bridge]

(Slower, introspective, with layered harmonies building to crescendo)

Everything good comes from above,

A beautiful display, a wish the cosmos grants,

We're but specks in this infinite love,

Yet in His glory, our spirits dance.

Sky magic whispers, "Behold the divine,"

From earthly auroras to heavens untold,

In awe we whisper, "This wonder is Thine,"

God's masterpiece, forever bold.

[Chorus]

(Full choir, triumphant)

Oh, Northern Lights, you fill us with your magic,

Awe and wonder in the vast universe so grand!

How small we are beneath your glowing tragic,

Yet how great is God, the Artist with His hand!

He is the world's greatest painter, glorious and true,

Creating beauty that makes the stardust real,

In every hue, His love shines through,

Northern Lights, your splendor we feel!

[Outro]

(Fading choral echoes)

Oh, the lights... His lights... forever in awe...
