Sorry, Not Sorry!

October 20, 2025

We are not the same.

This piece is based on a blog post I wrote some time ago and then given new life in the wake of the despicable displays we've watched in the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder. I'd say ... enjoy it ... but the truth is it's inspired by hate and responded to by anger ... and sometimes that's justified and appropriate. You decide if this is that time.

Sorry Not Sorry

We're not the same.

[Intro – spoken over banjo pickin’]

Yeah… turn me up.

This one’s for the ones who ain’t sorry.

Let’s go.

[Verse 1 – rap-spit, half-sung]

They popped champagne when the shot rang out on a Utah campus,

Celebrated like the devil just cashed his pay.

Act Blue, Bluesky, Twitter echo chamber of hate,

I say let ’em scream loud—show the world their real face.

Statists in red ties, globalists in sheep clothes,

Sellin’ centralized chains while we reload.

Open borders, fentanyl rivers, kids in the night,

You stayed quiet—blood on your hands, that ain’t right.

[Pre-Chorus – gritty yell]

I pray for ya… but I ain’t joinin’ ya.

[Chorus – full band, crowd fists in the air]

Sorry, not sorry—we ain’t the same!

You dance on graves, I’m fightin’ in the flame.

Sorry, not sorry—hear the truth roar!

Liberty or death, I’m kickin’ down the door.

Hey! Hey! We ain’t the same!

Hey! Hey! Let freedom ring!

[Verse 2 – rap over slide guitar]

Weaponized DOJ, IRS jackboot stomp,

Censorin’ grandmas while the cartels drop bombs.

Mutilate the kids, call it “health care” with a grin,

Drag queen story hour—where the groomin’ begins.

Unborn millions offered up on the altar of choice,

While you silence the preachers who still got a voice.

I see the Father of Lies in every policy line,

Communist playbook—same crap, different time.

[Pre-Chorus – crowd claps]

I pray for ya… but I ain’t joinin’ ya.

[Chorus – bigger, add gang vocals]

Sorry, not sorry—we ain’t the same!

You dance on graves, I’m fightin’ in the flame.

Sorry, not sorry—hear the truth roar!

Liberty or death, I’m kickin’ down the door.

Hey! Hey! We ain’t the same!

Hey! Hey! Let freedom ring!

[Bridge – slow build, spoken then screamed]

You call it compassion—they took your hand up, sold it back as a chain.

You call it progress—while the republic’s in pain.

I call it treason… and I ain’t playin’ the game.

[Breakdown – banjo + heavy drums]

One, two, three—LET’S GO!

[Final Chorus – double-time, full throttle]

Sorry, not sorry—we ain’t the same!

Light the torch high, let ’em remember the name.

Sorry, not sorry—till my dyin’ breath,

I’ll stand for the livin’, I’ll fight till death.

Hey! Hey! We ain’t the same!

Hey! Hey! Let freedom ring!

[Outro – chant, fade on crowd]

Freedom don’t die… freedom don’t die…

Sorry, not sorry—ride or die!
