This piece was inspired by a quote attributed to Japanese Admiral Yamamoto who urged his countrymen not to invade the United States because of the country's strong Second Amendment culture.
Yamamoto was Right
(Verse 1 - Rap-like, with heavy guitar riffs buildin')
Yo, back in '41, Pearl Harbor blowin' up the scene,
Admiral Yamamoto, smartest cat on the team,
He stared at the States, said "Hell no, we ain't goin' there,"
Rifles behind every blade, it's a redneck nightmare!
Armed up, locked and loaded, from Detroit to the bayou,
Second Amendment ridin' shotgun, what you gonna do?
(Chorus - Anthemic, drums poundin', brass blastin' like a party horn)
Yamamoto was right! Bawitdaba da bang!
Can't invade this crib, we got the whole damn gang!
Guns in every truck, beer cans and freedom rings,
Heavy guitars screamin', brass makin' kings,
Yamamoto was right! Yeah, he knew the deal,
America's bad ass, keep it real!
(Verse 2 - Faster rap, guitars chuggin' hard)
Foundin' fathers dropped the mic, Bill of Rights on fire,
Right to bear arms, no king's gonna retire.
From old school six-shooters to ARs in the rack,
Gun show's poppin', culture's got our back.
They talk about takin' 'em, but we flip 'em the bird,
Triggers pullin' truth, liberty's word!
(Chorus - Louder, crowd chant feel, drums like a stomp)
Yamamoto was right! Cowboy up and fight!
Can't touch this dirt, we'll light up the night!
Guitars wailin' wild, brass hittin' that high note,
Gun culture risin', sink your damn boat,
Yamamoto was right! He saw the bad ass crew,
America's armed, comin' straight for you!
(Bridge - Slow build with brass swagger, then explode with riffs)
Picture them fools sailin' cross the big blue,
But every back porch got a barbecue and a .22.
From the hood to the holler, red, white, and true,
We the people, packin' heat, what it do?
No backin' down, no fear, just straight up pride,
Yamamoto called it, now feel the tide!
(Verse 3 - Rap with attitude, buildin' to chaos)
Nowadays it's lit, in the land of the wild,
Millions slingin' lead, from the grown to the child.
Range days ragin', passin' down the lore,
Heritage hittin' hard, like a V8 roar.
Politicians yap, but they don't get the vibe,
This ain't just steel, it's the American tribe!
(Chorus - Full blast, guitars and brass collidin' like a wreck)
Yamamoto was right! American bad ass!
Invasion's a joke, we'll kick your ass!
Drums thunderin' loud, like a rock rebel war,
Second Amendment forever, hear us roar!
Yamamoto was right! Yeah, he nailed it down,
America's gunned up, ownin' the crown!
(Outro - Fade with heavy riffs, drum solo, and brass fanfare)
Yamamoto was right... right... right...
(Bawitdaba da bang, guitars screamin' into the night)
